I think that says 7507 on the intake intake.

It's an old dual plane B engine intake, what more is there to know?

It's an old intake that they don't make anymore so yeah, I'm sure there are better choices now. Put it on and see if you like it, it's not that hard to change a BB intake.

Looks like it's similar to the RPM intake, I'd run it. Update, it looks very similar to a Weiand 8008, they may have just changed to #s or some minor revisions. Hope this helps, Steve

I'd take the center divider down to 5/8" above the upper floor for better breathing before installing.

Thanks, this intake does look very similar to the 8008 now that I've compared it. I like the idea of lowering the divider, and along those lines of thought I think I will try it with a 3/4" open plenum spacer first. The car has a 3000 rpm torque converter and 456 gears, so my thinking is that the additional height and open space above the divider the spacer provides will help give me a little more top end power up to 6000rpm or so? Or am I thinking backwards? I figure I can remove the spacer easily at the track if it doesn't work right and try it as-is, and if that still isn't right I can try lowering the plenum divider height at home. The intake was dirt cheap, so I don't mind exparimenting. Speaking of intakes and plenums and spacers, I assume the more plenum volume the richer the jetting will have to be to compensate? Thanks for all of your input, I'm learning as fast as I can!
Don't assume anything when it comes to racing Test, test and test some more, look at the results and then decide what works good for you on your parts ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Twocents.gif)
