I think you wet down the cylinder walls and the fuel passed the rings and into the oil.
The one big thing I did not find out much is Water. With wood alcohol there is a tendency for it to be hydroscopic (sp?) meaning it likes to absorb water. So I do not know much about how storage would be with the material in the car for long periods.
You may want to do a search in the 'Unlawfl's Race Only' section since there are several in there that race with just E85.
I am still researching it myself and like I said would have already converted but there are basically only 2 stations in all of southern California

Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first.
Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

I may actually consider it if I was in diego land but only two are within 60 miles of me. Both are over 50 miles away. Not too convenient. I'm in the oc.
