Has anyone else had problems with the doors closing after installing the windlace on 63 B-bodies. I don't remember if I got the windlace/door seal from Layson's or RT Specialites. The doors, fenders were all aligned with excellent gaps before I put in the windlace. Now the doors are pinching the windlace along the front edge (hinge side). I don't see how I can move the doors without losing my alingment?
Thanks
Steve R

Common issue with new door & trunk weatherstrips. Assuming the rubber seal is the right size, close the doors as much as you can to compress the seal, and it'll flatten out after awhile. My '63 & '64 both were like that for a few days.

On my 63 Sport Fury the doors were a tad harder to close but everything worked fine. Never cut the windlace and after a bit the doors were closing with normal force. Ron
