Buddy of mine is have a problem with is Ram, it's hanging up in 1st & 2nd until you let of the gas. it's in a 2000 1/2 Ram 4X4 wih a 318. Would this tranny be a A518 also? Any help or ideas are much appreciated.

dusturbd340W5 master D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,616 Kissimmee Fl.	yes 518 could be a pressure cable problem or a problem with a tps or governor pressure solinoid just have to have it check out 70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

J_BODY I Live Here J Joined: May 2003 Posts: 13,189 aZLiViN	Check the kickdown band adjustment. It's external to the trans so it would be one of the easier things to inspect. The prob you describe definately can be caused by a loose band.
