It depends on the head.I had 2.14s and 1.81s installed in my old 516s.Machinist said he had to be careful as you can hit water doing it.I was going to use 1.88s but he said not to.After 35 years I figured he knew what he was talking about.Rocky

I've installed 2.19 valves with 1.88s in 906 and 915 heads. There's room. You'll want to un-shroud the combustion chamber and the top of the cylinders to get the full effect out of them. .055 overbore may be necessary. Check all your clearances.

See if you can locate Dulcich's porting info (might be Mopar Muscle) on the BB heads. there's critical info there that you should check out especially the differences between early (915/906) & late (452 etc) ports that will affect the best valve size you want to go with
