I just received a rebuilt thermoquad from Harms and it has a vacuum tube hook up that my existing TQ doesn't have. Can someone please advise me on where this hooks up? Thanks in advance.

As said it's the bowl vent that originally went to a charcoal canister back in the day for emission purposes so the CC would absorb the vapors that previously were just vented to the atmosphere. Leave it open/as is & you'll be fine. I have put a gas line filter on it to filter any debris that might make its way inside but that was on a dirt track stock car & not sure if it'd be needed in a DD especially as I think the vent valve is only open at idle

Thanks for clearing that up. I do have a 3 nipple breather on pass valve cover that has one opening blocked off. I now have come across another problem with the throttle linkage. The new carb is slightly different and hits on the intake manifold. Here are some pics. I can only post one at a time so bear with me.

I would use one of the thick plastic spacers that were OE on at least some Mopars & also work as a gasket. These are about a 1/4" thick.
I agree, that's what they came with new. If you need one I can send you one no charge

Since you're alltogether I dont think you'd want to grind/repaint the manifold there on the side. If you're using an open element air cleaner what about a slightly shorter element & Scotts spacer? EDIT or a drop base air cleaner

In the pic it looks like it comes up & hits the stop. I would see what Scott says
