Ive only seen a few for sale.I almost bought one for the 65 when I had 4.88s.It was I believe a 4.10 gear. The cost was around 80 bucks then at that was about 20 years ago. They are few and far between unless someone is repopping them now.Rocky

The early speedo gears usually won't work by themselves with high numeric ratio axle ratios, there just isn't enough range of tooth counts.

A reducer unit like the one pictured below is needed.

A&A Transmission in Indiana used to have some repros, but that was years ago when I saw them.

Imperial Services also makes the reducer for high ratios.they are pricey though. If I run into Steve the owner at a meet Ill try to get one cheaper.Rocky

I gave up looking for a gear for my 63 and bought a GPS speedometer with a heads-up display, displays speed onto the windshield, very small. It's a Globaltop Technology HG100, got it off Amazon for $65. I'm not sure if it's still available, but there are a lot of GPS speedometers. What's cool about the GPS version is you can swtich tires, gears even cars, it dosen't need to be recalibrated.
