Did you have any problems getting them to balance? I bought a pair of 6652 26 X 6 to replace my 165 radials late last fall. I took them today and had them mounted and attempted to balance them. One needed 5 oz and the other needed 4.25 oz. The cheap 165s had about a .5 oz on each one. The new tires are going back.

I just bought and mounted a pair of M/T Sportsman 8 plys for the front of my Ramcharger. I am using these because I am using bias ply slicks on the rear and don't need to complicate top end handling with a mix of radial and bias ply tires. The 8 plys because of the weight of the truck. I have not attempted to balance them yet, I mounted them at home on my Warriors with a pair of Harbor Freight tire irons and determination and whatever the balance is will be what it is.

I have no personal experience w/ those tires, but this isn't the first I've heard of this issue.

Figures both set's on both of my cars balanced fine. Had my black car up to 120 mph many times out at bonneville and they never popped.

Did you break them back down and spin them 180 and try again? Is the dot lined up with the stem?

One day I will have something cool here.
