I used their BB conversion mounts on a /6 kmember 69 valiant & used a regular shallow BB pan the one with the idler arm indentation & kept the shallow /6 centerlink. The ones that require some trimming of the Kmember pedestal. Perfect fit. Not sure this answers your Q so here's a BTT

The #187 and #699 pans are the two recommended stock 5 qt. pans for the Schumacher conversion. They both have a notch to allow clearance for the steering idler arm on turns. Aftermarket pans will require mods. Coming up with a C-Body 187 pan shouldn't be too hard.

The Schumacher kit is supposed to put the engine in the correct location (but it is never the option that I use...). Many pans require k-member mods and other changes, but like stated above the C-body pan will fit, but may require a little more clearancing with 67-72 steering linkage.

As to the first responce, there is no such thing as a slant/shallow center link for the late A's. There were two different links, early and late (67-72, 73-76).

Oh OK, one group for 67-72 & another for 73-76, now I got it . iirc the idler/pitman taper was the opposite & the ends turned 90 deg on 73-76 A

The late link has the idler and pitman arm studs pointing down and in line with the tie rod ends. The early link has the studs pointing up with the tie rods about 90 degrees off.

This is exactly my issue 440 in 69 Dart GTS ( originallky a 383) . From where can I get these stock 5 qt oil pans with the idler arm indent? Does Schumacher carry them?

Thanks
