Hi all. I am looking at a '70 GTX that has the simulated wood grain steering wheel (the one with the tall padded horn button)and pedal dress up (chrome surround). Both of these options do not appear on the fender tag and there is no broadcast sheet (LA built car). Question: would these items be listed on the tag as S81 (I think) and J41, or would these items only be listed on the broadcast sheet? Owner says that they are original (one owner car but the guy's gotta be in his 80's). This does not effect the possiblity of purchasing it, rather for me to be better informed. Thanks.

Neither item would appear on a fender tag .

Thanks Greg. Any known reason why some items would be listed and others not?

basically .....

The fender tag doesn't list OPTIONs - it is the directions (for the plant) to build the sheet metal body (in addition to paint & trim). OPTIONS that require a hole or welded panel will appear on the tag.
