I am trying to I.D. a pile of Carter AFB and AVS carbs. Does anyone know of a site that tells what vehicles each number came with? I found one that just lists Dodges only. Also, one of the carbs I have is #4331s the site shows it is a rear carb from a '68 426. Can anyone confirm this?

Sorry, I was looking at #4431, which is a rear carb for a 426. Does anyone know of any other sites that give the specific car the carb number came on? The Carbs Unlimited site is non-specific. Thanks Redrider.

There was no specific car the carb numbers matched up to, only the engine application, in your case it's a 1968 426 Hemi engine, 4 speed version. A 4432 would be for the same application but with automatic transmission. A 4430 would be the front carburetor for either transmission. In 1968 you could only get Carter equipped Hemis in B-Body cars such as Road Runners, Chargers, Super Bees, R/T's etc. and a few oddball lower line B-body cars that slipped through with Hemis installed. No numbers will tell you which particular car your carburetor was originally installed on.
