Best headers for a street driven 440?

No, I didn't do a search. Sorry. But I just need some advice on replacing my old headers on my 440. They were bent when my daughter accidentally slammed into the wimpy aluminum garage door(my Super Bee was parked on the other side of the door) and the impact shoved the exhaust system forward and down a bit. The right header now rubs on the center link/idler arm and it sounds like there's a leak somewhere, IDK where yet. Anywho, I want to put a decent pair of new headers in but am clueles as to who makes a good, relatively affordable header. The headers I have now I think were more for racing and have 2" primaries to a 4" collector. I was thinking of downsizing a little to 1 3/4' primaries to a 3" collector. I just cruise in my Bee. No racing. Any thoughts? Oh, I have a Holley 750, Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake and Stealth aluminum heads...and 3" exhaust into Magnaflows.

don dulmage (old guy on the net who knows mopars)said 440s are not very sensative to headers.
my buddy had a set of flowtecks and there was a plug that was litteraly behind a tube and wouldent go in or come out without removing the headers-he eventually got some wierd plug to fix them.
summits for the money are great.

summits for the money are great.
these are Summits and they fit and work fine. Good enough for 11.30's. Upgrading to 2". Mild 440's don't need big tubes but I have seen articals that say you can pick up about 40HP form 1 3/4" to 2"...but that's not for you.

They don't put out as much peak HP as long tubes, but especially for a street car, you won't notice a difference and the ease of maintenance is priceless.

Somebody's got to say it...........
look into the Hooker Comp's, they're 1&7/8'ths inch and reasonably priced (about $230 thru Summit). P/n 5903, I think.

I have used both the summit, and the hedman shorties, and they both worked well, depending on what you want from it. Those would bemy choices.
