Steff I like a lot of others have been watching this build, thanks for sharing. Nice power and not peaky, should be fun.
Looks like it's time for me to spend some money at Glendora Dodge soon.

Had a Great 2 Days on the Dyno at Muscle Motors!!!! Mike and the Boys were Fantastic, tuning, teaching and guiding!!! All of my hopes and expectations were exceeded with this motor!! It runs great. My Belt drive performed as hoped. All inspection of the valve train looks great. Oil Filter was clean etc.... Motor was run on 93 Octane.

I'm totally down with the "Happy Dyno" comments......every dyno on the planet is "happy" except for the one the. "Critic" uses. And yes, I totally agree.....real proof is in the track performace. Unfortunatelyn it's going to be awhile for that. My Family and I are currently prepping for a move from Michigan to South Carolina. So, going to the track is on the back burner till summer. Sixpackgut, As for the Muscle Motor s Intake, I did not gasket match the ports. I liked it being just a hair smaller. The only work I did to it was blend the plenum where the machining was done for the Dominator carb. Jerry, that GM performace sticker and Lavender paint was worth 100. And yes Rick, car is ready to go. Motor is going in Friday.

Great build, I hope to see some pics of it in the car! At the end of the day, dyno's are a tool, nothing more, nothing less. Many car's set ups are usually never tuned to their full potential and may not show the engines measured horsepower. In saying that, I have seen a few instances where more power has been shown in the car. Glad to see it all come together Steff, after a set back or two you've netted some very positive results

Steff - Can you explain why you went with a belt driven oil pump instead of the factory unit?
Was it just capacity or is there an issue with the factory pumps?
My Cam/Crank Belt Drive eliminates the factory front cover, so the stock pump no longer can be used. Plus I really like the belt driven pump as you can adust the pressure on the low speed side, on the pump and then adjust the high rpm pressure with the pulley ratio, to really dial it in to the motor. Plus, it looks cool! LoL.
