jsully OP enthusiast Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 267 Arizona	I disassembled to check the backlash on my 8.75 diff (3.91 sure grip) and will be re-installing everything tomorrow. I packed the rear axle bearings about 12 years ago, but was wondering if there is a better bearing grease to use. (drum brakes). Thanks

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,041 Lincoln Nebraska	The Kendall "blue" grease is high quality as is the MP "green" grease. both come in tubes to slip in your grease gun. Then $5 needle zerk fitting on the end of the grease gun nozzle works well for bearings that are already installed. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

L-427 I love the smell of Deer guts in the morning, it smells like... VICTORY!
