Almost seems like it! There are air lines wrapped around everything back there. Looks like you could almost wrap the car with lines. If they didn't crumble at your touch...

Besides the crumbling that's how my air shocks were when I was taking them out. They were weaving all around. I'm glad I took them off for the Bilsteins. I just need to find time to put it all together and take it out for a test drive.

Still trying to decide on a shock and rear spring for it. I am going to hopefully finish up the rear brakes tonight and have found a front disk setup for a reasonable price. So may be a couple weeks before I get to the front.

They absolutely STOLE that car! Wow. I guess as long as your friend was happy then everyone won. I am still waiting to hear on a '69 R/T in Georgia. You guys have all the cool cars! About the same shape as my Bee, still has the Dana, 4-speed spline count is unknown. Later 440 partially disassembled in the car. Heads in the trunk.
Looked at it in '11 but mine didn't sell fast enough.
Anyway... closing a deal to get all the big parts I need to get the 3 Times X9 on the road this summer. Then it is continue on with the safety pieces...

More progress. Spent about 4 hours under the car last night. Finished the right rear brake job. RockAuto wheel cylinders don't use the same size retaining bolts, so dug around and found some that would fit. Need to blast and turn the drums and hit them with some paint, replace the lug studs, then I'm done with rear axle. For now. Looking lightly for a 3.91.

With the purty new stainless line on the right side

Got the trans out. For the record, I'm really not in the shape I was a while ago. I couldn't toss the thing up on the bench.

Only one bellhousing bolt. So the bell came off easily.

This input shaft worries me.

But it looks nice inside...

That's it for now. Looks like a call to Brewer's next week for some parts/ideas...

Let me say, I LOVE southern cars. I needed a box end on an open end for leverage on ONE bolt. No penetrating oil. No heat. Wonderful...
The trans is original to the car.

I feel your pain....I used to lay under the car, and manhandling the four speed in by myself. never used a trans jack. Now I know there ain't no way I could do that.

Did the same thing with the Hemi box in my R/T. A couple times. Looks like I've gone soft.
