I think those shocks must have come free with a set of slot mags!
Almost seems like it! There are air lines wrapped around everything back there. Looks like you could almost wrap the car with lines. If they didn't crumble at your touch...
Besides the crumbling that's how my air shocks were when I was taking them out. They were weaving all around. I'm glad I took them off for the Bilsteins. I just need to find time to put it all together and take it out for a test drive.

Still trying to decide on a shock and rear spring for it. I am going to hopefully finish up the rear brakes tonight and have found a front disk setup for a reasonable price. So may be a couple weeks before I get to the front.

Got the trans out. For the record, I'm really not in the shape I was a while ago. I couldn't toss the thing up on the bench. Only one bellhousing bolt. So the bell came off easily. This input shaft worries me. But it looks nice inside... That's it for now. Looks like a call to Brewer's next week for some parts/ideas...

Let me say, I LOVE southern cars. I needed a box end on an open end for leverage on ONE bolt. No penetrating oil. No heat. Wonderful... The trans is original to the car.

I feel your pain....I used to lay under the car, and manhandling the four speed in by myself. never used a trans jack. Now I know there ain't no way I could do that.
So what your saying is that................................ you're an old fart.
