I just got my master cylinder back from Brake & Equipment Warehouse in Minnesota.

They did a super-nice job.

They baked and bead-blasted it followed by a bore and hone.

They pressed in a new 304 stainless steel sleeve and drilled the ports.

They installed a Raybestos MK662 rebuild kit and a new cover gasket.

They said that DOT 3 or 5 brake fluid can be used in it.

It was a one-week turnaround.

They have a cool video under their "machine shop" tab too.

They've treated me well on master cylinder restoration for years. A 2229171 master cylinder they did for my Challenger convertible has been working great on the car for 5 or 6 years now.

Looks good, what's the cost for this?

I've been dealing with them for years. I pointed my buddy to them this last Summer (yes we do have Summer in MN)to have the calipers off his Porsche 911 rebuilt. Their price was a lot cheaper than buying re-manufactured ones and they turned out great.
