will 66-9 B-body HEMI K-frame fit 71 HEMI B-body? Any differences? Besides the sway bar mount? Can it be modified to accept 70-1 swaybar?
Is 70-1 E-body HEMI K-frame same as 71 B-body?
Thanks!

The 68-69 will fit the E body but the steering box angle is different.
I suppose you could cut one off a 318 k and graft it on yours.
I belive the 71 b and E K frames are all the same.

Jamie/Roy at mega parts have been selling a reworked Hemi K frame for 10-15 yrs and pretty much know all the differences..

The 71 Bs and Es are different from the rest, the motor also sits in it different than the70 and back Ks. Do yourself a favor and just order one from Mega Parts.

It will be money well spent , I have one and it's very nice. also note that a real hemi K has a reinforcement added to the steering box mount , just buying the brackets I have seen for sale doesn't get you that extra reinforcement .

71 has the same skid plate as 70.

the assembly line K has a COING welded on it wit hthe last 2 digits of the part number as an ID , the NOS E body K i had years ago that came out after production did not have a coin. There should/may be a date stamped on the assembly Line K , it would be the date the engine and trans assembly were attached to the K.
