I need a stock steel thermostat housing for a big block. All the ones I find online are either Billet or chrome. Anyone stocking these?

Thanks!

I've used the ones from Four Seasons. Order from your local parts store. I believe these are cast iron, not aluminum, but they don't leak like chrome ones. Summit

I will give it a try. I have tried both the chrome and the billet from (Mancini). Both are leaked on top of the aluminum housing.

Thanks!

I got one from Napa (stock replacement). No leaks. Chrome nothing but headaches!

What double R said, drawfile both surfaces (put a rag in the intake/pump whichever eng you have to catch the shavings) back & forth with a wide/fine file till the chrome is removed & the high spots are leveled
