Plastic on 73 Cuda as well. BTW, all that gasket stuff I got from you worked great and the heater box works better than ever. I can have the temp cable pinned on heat but if the heater is off, there is no residual heat entering the cabin. Before your rebuild kit, it would be an oven. Craig
