Tight LSA on the cam? Looks like your C.F. was just about 1 to 1 that day-nice weather. Today its - 14.8 F my C.F. would correct down not up! Nice engine that is a ton of torque. J.Rob

Very nice with good #'s. Is that the RPM intake ? The Indy dual plane I use kinda looks like an RPM intake on steroids. Its not far from my combo but I use a 4.15 crank in a .030 over 440 block for 493 cubes. I use an 850 DP and run on pump also. I have EZ heads and 10.6 comp and I use a solid flat tappet cam. That should run pretty good in your Roadrunner. I guess I make about 600 hp in my 493 so far to run 10.70's at 3700 lbs. You should run easy 11's and maybe very low 11's. Good luck , Ron

Brian dont you think it was a bit fat on the top end... looks like it was progressively getting fatter.... that has some nice torque for sure.. what was the CI on that

That wasn't the last pull. We ended up jetting it down some, got the AF's in the high 12's and low 13's. Gave up just bit of power, 555HP and 605TQ but averages were same so no big deal.
CID is 496. The stealth heads needed alot more port work but price was king on this deal and this is what the customer wanted (550HP and 600TQ). It's a real driver, no track time plus running power brakes, steering and A/C so we had to keep it civil. But not bad for 14" of vacuum right at 850rpm. It idled down to 750rpm, but didn't sound happy so 850 was much better. Brian

Awesome job, Brian!
How do the PRW's compare to the Comps? Are they an exact copy?
Love to see a side by side with a 440-2D on that....484 is it?

NICE!! I'd like to have a engine like that one.
Nautilus Racing- We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.
