Can anyone give me some real world numbers on how much horsepower a boosted factory gen III 6.1 hemi block can handle. I know they are capable of making more than they can safely handle. Where is that line that I don't want to cross? Thanks for the help, Jody

'74 W200 Crew Cab 360, NV4500, D44, D60 and NP205 divorced transfer case. Rear disc and hydroboost conversion.
2019 1500 Long Horn Crew Cab 4WD, 5.7 Hemi.

From what I've read elsewhere I think it's around the 1000 hp mark, and at that point the heads start lifting off due to only 4 bolts per cylinder

Kurt Bush (roundy round guy) was one of the guys at the front of the field pushing the new Hemis. He had issues after about 1000hp if I remember correctly. Wish he was still around here. He made me a fan at last years race here in KY.

There are several places around that do it but he was one of the leaders of the pack.
