I recently picked up a set of Indy 360-2 oval port heads for my 410ci bracket engine. I would like to get them 230cc CNC ported, Shady Dell & Indy Cylinder Head both offer a CNC program for these heads. Any pros or cons for either place? Good or Bad experiances?

Thanks.

I had a set of W-9 heads done by SDSS and they were
nicely done... they were a back up set and I ended up
selling them... they flowed almost identical to the
set I use

I hate posts like this, no reason to make it unless you bother to state the facts. Not saying you're wrong but come on, the internet and this forum is better than what your making it out to be.

I have had nothing but positive dealings with Ryan at Shady Dell.
And I have heard a lot more horror stories about Indy.
Somewhere in the middle is the truth I suppose , but I would not be afraid to use SDSS for any small block work.

There were a few post on this board about this subject, most guys have very good things to say about shady dell a few had problems with him/his work,,,,

that being said Indy has a rather poor reputation here, IF you do go with indy make sure you go through a dealer their are many on this board that can help you out.

Try doing a search on either company it might help you decided.

You might also consider Brian at IMM engines. He did my 360-1 they work VERY well. My choice would NOT be Indy. Ryan did a set of W-5s they are good.

I would say Ryan Johnson at Shadydell, Brian Halfinger at IMM,or I'm sure Brett Miller (W5DART66) could take care of you. Brett built an engine with a set of 2s which was featured in engine masters a couple of years ago and did some first class work on a friend's car running 360-2S.
