Well I will change out that big rear bumper for a lighter one.
Nice score! Don't you need that bumper for ballast? Are those rims aftermarket?

nice score! happy birthday stumps! If you're gonna race it, more weight behind the rear axle is better than less, find places up front to cut weight!

I shaved right at 200 pounds of the front off my truck by wieghing what came off and what went back on. swaperd out power steer to manual steer, power brake to manual brake, ditched the A/C-heater core, ditched the 35 gallon saddle tank, ditch the cast iron intake/WP housing/WP on the 440 engine. I could drop a few more pounds by removeing the inner fenders, lighten the core support and full interier bench seat, gut the doors and bed. I got it down to 3840 with me in it so far.

This one even has the rams head still on the hood.
I give it a week and it will be on a chain hanging around the neck of some gold-toofed homey in your neighborhood.
