The post showing the old speed shop got me to thinking so went to the garage to see what I had old from back then. Neat looking set up here to add in some dry ice and cool down the fuel!!! What a great enhancement from back in the day I'm sure it got me at least a tenth in ET and maybe even more . Hmmm maybe I should put it on my car now Russ

The problem with those old cool-cans is that the fuel line size inside them is probably inadequate for today's race engines. I have an old Moroso one collecting dust somewhere in the attic.
Yea I know that but could take that stuff out and use it for my radiator overflow just for the cool factor

Mine has 1/2" lines
Had one of those on my Buick when I raced it. If nothing else it made a great place to keep a can of Pepsi cold. Guys freaked out first time I pulled into staging and lifted a can out.
Put a cool can back on my 63 this summer. Because its a street car and in the 100 degree hot and humid heat I had some problems with this 92 pump fuel boiling a little after a hot soak. So if I went for a long cruise in the 95 to 110 degree humid days I would put an ice pack in the cool can and it defenitly helped. If it was a long ride to a show I would throw an extra ice pack in the cooler in the trunk for the ride home. Ron

Apart from the very neat way they have clearanced the sump, what other mods does it have?
Do you know the history of this part or the car it came out of? and what future do you have planned for it?
