So the question mainly is did Y07 build for Canada specs get the extra aluminum tag stating built by Plymouth or Dodge...USA??? I don't think they did. How about all you guys in Canada with original Y07 on your fender tags!!!....lets here it!!!

I know that Y09 build for export specs(over seas) DID get the extra aluminum tag. Thanks, Dave

Cars ordered from overseas were considered export cars (Y09).

Cars built for Canada were not considered export cars since we share the same continent, so no extra tags.

Barry, sounds like a good answer to me! Is there any type of proof? Ever seen original Y07 cars and know there wasn't export tags?

As already stated ,Y07 Canadian spec cars did not get Export tags .
Only Y09 Export cars got export tags .
And Most Y09 cars never left this country, but servicemen ordered
them while overseas to take delivery upon their return.
If you look close at fender tags the next time you go to a Mopar show, you will notice their were alot of Y09's (or "I" begining in 1971)and VONS begining with E.
Some ,if not Most ,export spec cars have "lost" their oval tags somewhere along the way .
I noted at a recent show of approx 150 Mopars ,7 export cars with only 1 still wearing it's oval .

Looks like performance car graphics has them in reproduction @ around $ 35 . Dodge and Plymouth available .
