Don't know if they made them factory or not, but a club cab short box stepside would be sweet for me. It just would take up the entire garage space instead of most of it that my reg cab stepside short does.

A guy I used to work with had a '77 or '78 Club Cab short box.
I used to own a '76 Club Cab long bed that originally had a 360 then I swapped in a 440 out of a cop car. I don't have any pics of it on the computer, its been almost 20 yrs since I got rid of it.
When I had my '76, my Dad had a '73 Club Cab. It was interesting (to me) to see the differences between the two model years. The '73 really looked like it was pieced together, just a regular cab with extensions. My '76 had a once piece inner roof, the '73 had a two piece. I think the floor was similar? Its been too long. The filler neck on the '73 was up in the cab where it would be if there was an in cab tank, yet, the tank was down below in the typical spot. Made for a l-o-n-g filler tube and kinda weird routing.

I had a 73 3/4 ton 2 wd, extended cab, long box, camper special, 440,(originally a 400) 727, 4:10 gears. It was a brute, 5/8" wheel studs, big suspension stuff, front & rear sway bars, over load springs. 7 mpg empty or loaded, driving @ 55 or 70, with or without the wood topper, pulling a trailer or not, didn't matter, 7 mpg. Did drag that car trailer through the mountains in PA pretty easy though, except that 6%, 6 mile uphill grade while I had a 60 300F on the trailer and a box full of parts. That one made it work and lead to its death a few months later. Sorry, no pictures. Gene
