While the original decals are long gone, the tell tale residue is still present on this hood.
Doesn't matter which way you or the factory put them on if your ordered just one decal by the even part number (3412424) it would be listed by Chrysler as the right side scoop decal and the letters would lean toward the windshield.
Half or more were put on leaning forward, which in my opinion "looks" better but according to the factory document and parts numbering system the even part number is meant for the right side of the scoop or car.

Engineering drawing be damned, I'm putting mine back the way they were when new (incorrectly I guess), since it looks MUCH better and is the way my Bee came when new

they are all wrong from all vendors. i`ve said it before that it seems really difficult to reproduce decals in 2012 like originals made in 1969. todays computer programs do some sort of auto adjust between the computer screen and the printer/cutter and the shapes of letters and curves change. this pic is from another vendor-and while i`m at it i`ll post the rear quarter bees-spot all the differences- when i asked why to the vendor he said ours are like the assembly line and not like nos decals that come up every now and then. weird because our nos decals look identical to the original ones still on the car on it`s original paint. maybe he was referring to hamtramck or st louis built a12 bees and not lynch road ones all the best frank
