To all of you most knowledgeable 440 pros out there, I am in need of help to complete this very
long drawn out project. My knowledge level doesn't
extend into the world of big blocks, thus, I am seeking your opinions and advise. Here are the stats.

1. 86 DodgeRam 440 .030 over 440Source all forged
2. 10.5 to 1 compression
3. Truck weighs 4055 lbs.
4. Tire size is 33x12.50R15
5. Rear gears 410 Positraction (Shortbed 4x4)
6. Stealth Alum. heads 2.14 valves
7. Will be using 250hp Nos setup
The $ 64,000.00 question is this. With this information, is there a formula one would use to determine cam size ( I would like a roller )and the appropiate manifold? This truck although show quality will be driven daily and it has factory A/C and power brakes thrown in the mix.
Gas price and consumption is not going to be a consideration here. I DO NOT want to be BEAT UP by local diesel maniacs. I want it to be suprbad
but still have my a/c and run on pump gas if possible. Thank you all for whatever advise you may offer. I anxiously await your replies.I also
have a 440 tunnel ram(just a consideration)Thx.

I would suggest calling Comp Cams and give the "Real Experts" all of your specs and your intentions and let them help pic a cam or custom grind one for you. . Very nice truck.

Sounds like you need to call the supercharger store and talk to them.

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

At 10.5:1 static comp this motor isn't a great candidate for a super charger, and I don't know why he'd need one.

As for cam selection, you need to talk to a pro.

A custom ground cam for sure.

If you really want a roller, THE guy with rollers seems to be Scott Brown.

I'm not sure what his contact info is these days. You can probably find it with a search of the "Unlawful's race only" threads
