Is the hichhiker(s) chipping in for fuel I think there is enough Scotch in the coach to make the trip. Might have to get some for the return trip though
I don't have a race car, or a fast car, but would love watching..
Sounds like it would be a great trip.. I'll bring Dickel.. Billy and Robbie could be crew guys for you..

LMAO Thats what I was thinking. How do you even get a smallblock car to 3000 without a holesaw and sawzall.
Easy, use a Valiant! 2940 with a 360/727, 8 3/4, all steel except hood, full interior, 10 pt mild steel cage and 2x3 frame connectors, heavy 73 style disc brakes too.

I would be willing to drag my new small block car to Indy, to hurt some big block feelings.

They only have one class...Extreme 10.5 and the rules are loose...
yes they are and i'm surprised someone with deep pockets hasn't ruined the class, the current crop of cars i've seen are "realistic" for "normal" budgets hopefully it will stay that way.
i've only been to the indy race this year and despite some of the griping feel Josh and the support people did a good job all things considered, there were a lot of nice cars there.
i would like to at least attend the same race next year and maybe not as a spectator.
for those guys mentioning coming from the west i think you'd like it.

Smallblocks LOL That would just be crazy.
Not crazy - just cold Even though I'm warm inside this box...Thinkin' outside the box. Stock firewall and frame rails in a daytona w/caltracs outback would fit the rules as they read - just looking for clarafication? Need something to do - have nothing but time
