The stupid answer is either. I have seen both left side tube and right side tube breather hose locations on 69 Hemi cars. Maybe someone has a ryme or reason for it. I do not.

Not 100% certain so take it for what you paid for it. But to me it makes the most sense.

Air grabber cars the crankcase breather is pass side with the PCV on the drivers side

Non air grabber cars its reversed

Because -
But isn't the hose to connect to the crankcase breather on the pass side rear of the air cleaner on all air greabber air cleaner bases?????

Then on the drivers side on all chrome dome air cleaners.aka non air grabber

On 69 4bbl air cleaners the breather tube is on the left/drivers side. I had a Heml one like that too. My current 69 has the breather on the pass side.

In both the 1969 Plymouth Service Manual (first page of Fuel System/AFB carbs) and the 1969 parts manual, the PCV is shown on the passenger side. It makes sense to have the oil filler near the front on the driver's side just for hood clearance if nothing else. I just looked up a photo of my old 69 Hemi RR and the PCV is in the driver's side. They must be using some old photos in the 69 service manual?

If your current 69 is a wedge motor, the valve cover with the filler tube is on the wrong side. Just saying...

It is a Hemi.

PCV goes to the carb base, Breather goes to the aircleaner, do you have the correct aircleaner? If so it will be obvious.

It's obvious on my '69 Hemi RR but I've seen it both ways on other '69 Hemi RR's so...why? Did they really come both ways?

The green car's compartment looks more like a survivor than the blue one and that's how I had it on my Hemi RR. It's also like that on Harold Sullivan's green RM27J. I vote for the pcv on the driver's side. I agree with Bill (gtx6970), the chrome domes were opposite of the AG cars. Why not double check with Frank Badalson...he has a tremendous library of survivor photos.

Passenger side is correct for oil breather on 69 Hemi cars with air-grabbers. The picture of the green 69 Hemi Road Runner is a "survivor" example.
