What back spacing do I need on a rim (Cragar) to fit P235/60R14 tires inside the rear fender wells of my 1969 Dart? Thanks, Joe

You can fit an 8 inch rim with 4 3/4" of Backspacing. I had 15x8 rally wheels on my 67 Dart. I got them from Wheel Vintiques. A 7 inch wheel would give a bit more breathing room with 4 1/2" of B/S.

I picked up a set of small bolt pattern 14 inch Cragar SS wheels with almost new tires for a reasonable price. But the wider P235/60R14 tires are mounted on wheels where the back spacing puts the wheel about 1 1/2 to 2 inches past the outside of the fender well. The rims look deep dish from the outside. I know there has been several threads on here about back spacing for getting the bigger tires inside the fender wells. I thought maybe somebody could point me in the right direction of a correct back spaced wheel that would work for me. I think I an use the tires on the correctly back speaced wheels.
