Well I have called my Mopar Dealer quite a number of times, so much so, that they have no idea when it is IF ever coming, so I cancelled my order.

Both the 3" inboard kit and the MP .284/528 cam show no signs of showing up.

Now, I am at a loss.

I really wanted a cam on the 114 lsa, and the MP cam, even though its OLD, it just fit the bill so simply.

I had already looked at Crane, Comp even Hughes that is what I currently have buts it's on a 108.

Hughes how ever does have a few Hydraulics with 112, with some pretty big specs for a hydraulic.

Who else does a 114 lsa?

Here is a quick breakdown of motor and useage.

440 .55 over
Ross Pistons 10:1 compression
Stock Eddy Heads
Hughes 238/245 546/560 108 lsa 582/597 on 1.6
OLD Offy Dual Quad Intake with 625 Carters
1 3/4 CPPA Headers
4.56 w/ MT ET Street 28 X 11.5

Dodge Dart Sport

What is going to change?
NEW Eddy Dual Quad Intake
4.56 w/ bigger maybe 325/50/15? Maybe 3.91's

This is a street driver, so vacuum was a concern. Giving myself that 114 lsa I though would do the trick.

if you call comp, crane or hughes, they will grind you a cam with whatever lobe center you want.

Is the 284/.528" on a 114 lsa now??
When I put one in my 383 they were 112 lsa. But that was year 2000.

Just wondering, I'm still very happy with it and would definitely use it in another build (but I want it back on 112

Death or Glory...it's just another story.

the .528 is on a 112, not a 114. The new version of the 484 and 509s are on 114s. The 528 is a solid and the 484,509s are juice cams.

The wider LSA will have a broader curve, idle better, build higher vacuum and have less over lap which would be better with a restrictive exhaust.

so whats the down side? less peak power? less total power under the curve?

how much better is the vacuum with a 112 vs a 108?

I have a 250 at .050, lift .565/.575 on a 108 installed at 105. running about 7" at idle

I think you are confusing Lobe Seperation Angle and intake centerline. You can't change the LSA, it's ground in the cam. Centerline can be dialed in.

im not confusing them. I was just reporting my cam had a 108 LSA and it was installed at 105 centerline. I know the LSA is built into the cam and that the centerline can be installed wherever

I just RE-ORDERED it again. It turns out that 'somebody' never even placed an order for me!

I just spoke to the parts manager, and a 'Oh Yeah' came from the back room.

So..... now it may be upto a week to ten days as I live in Canada, so both items are coming from US.

Fingers crossed.

How much is your Dodge dealer charging you for MP parts? Last time I went to my local dealer and asked about mp parts was a couple years ago. Asked how much for their set of MP big block headers. The catalog online at the time had them for $150 USD, so I figured a bit more because we're in Canada. Guy looks on the computer and tells me the only set they have is one province over and they wanted over $350! I walked out the door and have not asked about MP parts since.

Even with shipping, it's probably cheaper to buy from a dealer near the border....Mancini racing for example has a bunch of Canadian customers

Well the cam is a tick over $200 CDN, and the 3" Inboard Spring kits is $145 CDN.

Delivered to my door. With the XXX change rate today, I am ahead of the game.
