I need to buy valve covers for my LA 360. Anything wrong with chrome valve covers? Should I use aluminum? What do I need to know?

It aint cool if your chrome dont shine, but the chroming retains heat and the cheap 1s are prone to leaking and will rust also. Aluminimum is better because they dissapate heat better, wont rust and normally will seal better because the flanges dont warp like the metal 1s will. The new style fabbed covers look real nice IMO. You can have them embossed with anything you like on the tops.

I am truckless..
