Was thinking of getting a back brace for my car ,
already have Mosser axles and 4:10 with Detroit locker .
My question is can I weld on the back brace with the whole unit assembled?
Is their any special things I need to do ?

I was going to try and go slow and jump around like you weld a quarter panel would this be Ok?
Thanks

Yes you can do it assembled and yes jump around when
welding(no more than 1" in a spot... you might want
to drain it if its in the car... jump side to side
to keep it cool

IMO draining won't be really needed as the oillevel is always lower than where you are welding.
Besides, won't the body of oil help cooling the metal in the center better?
