vin numbers 70 barracuda #1336902

Hey guys i have a 70 barracuda no vin numbers the only # i
have is the cowl its B1 116813 are there any way to get
the full vin number

That would be a 1971 model.

If you apply for a state issued VIN, they normally contact the FBI or NICB with the body number to determine the original, full VIN.

I thought it was 70 model cause its got 70 taillights.
But it dose have 71 fenders,valvance,2 headlights on the
leftside No headlights on the right.
I HOPE ITS A 71

Where are the parking brake cable support brackets mounted ?

Taillights are easily changed between 70 and 71 .

Inboard side of the rear frame rails, toward the front. 70 will have one bracket on the driver's side, 71 has one on each side. These are the brackets that the rear axle parking brake cables plug in to.

A 71 without a vin you can get a title for?
It's already a race car. If it's going to end up with a state issued it's just a hot rod.

OK GOT THE BARRACUDA OUT THE FIELD.
Hooked the wrecker it put tires on it checked
for rust while i had it up it will need quarters,
foor pans and trunk.frame rails solid as a rock

Guys I will moving to project section and see where this project goes
I'll take pictures before i start the tear down. If i get lucky maybe i will find the vin tag or a build sheet.

Question when replacing the floor pans do ya'll recommend a one piece
floor or separate 1/4 floors. If a one piece will it go through the window opening.I need all 4 and the tunnel been cut and patched.
Im not building show car just nice driver.

chemically dip the body, and then use a paint long wand to spray epoxy indise the groves, coves.. go further--drill holes,, then weld them up,, but for a race car,,, no need
