Working on my 69 RR front pas. fender and would like to know if I have a couple of extra holes that I don't need. The first is on the inner lip where you would see looking from in the engine compartment. The second is 2 holes, again on/near the inner fender lip but seen from the top down (or from bottom up as in the pic). I have them circled in red in the following pics. Are these holes supposed to be there or can I weld them closed?

I can't imagine any differences between 68 and 69 in those two areas. My 68 fenders do not have those extra holes.

Doesn't matter, you'll never see them when the fenders are mounted. The fenders mount to the outside of the inner fenders so those holes are hidden by the inner fender. If you really care, just find the corresponding holes on the inner fenders ... any extras are not needed.
