edl OP enthusiast Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 331 Northeast	On a new to me �66 Belvedere, when I turn the ignition to the on position I get a very noticeable, load, whirring sound � after I turn the key to start and engine has started, it is still there in the background � does anybody know what causes that sound? � is it normal for �66?

edl OP enthusiast Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 331 Northeast	the previous owner did install an electric fuel pump...but it is in the back of the car...maybe i can hear it all the way up front? - i'll look into that too - good thought!
