We have the windshield out of my 70 cuda and at the bottom of the windshield frame are 2 pair of 1/8" holes. Was there clips / stops supposed to be there for the glass to set on? are they available ? were they riveted or screwed into these holes? they are spaced evenly apart so my guess would be they held stops for the glass to rest on.Thanks, Charlie.

the lower windshield channel has 2 indentations for rubber blocks to support the glass.

ebodies lower windshield molding is held on by 2 screws in the middle of the molding about a inch or so below the channel.

There are some square rubber blocks(2 of them) that the window sit's on to keep it from sliding down. I don't think the holes have anything to do with the glass mounting? I think the holes were there to allow drainage when the car was dipped before paint?

Are you talking about the holes to screw the wide chrome molding strip corners into???

Is there a specific place along the bottom of the windshield that the blocks go? Or can they go wherever?
