I got a Quick Fuel 750 VS carb with an electric choke. Since my air cleaner top sits pretty close to the air horn I was thinking about modifying it.

Take a look at the picture. Would it make a difference if I would remove the air horn wall above the choke plate (the plate is at an angle - to the right there is nothing that can be removed)?

IMHO.

1)mill the whole airhorn off and ditch the choke on that carb.

2) replace carb with one without the airhorn/choke.

3) use a taller filter with a K&N extrem air lid so it can get more flow thru the top of aircleaner.(this would be my first choise for a test&tune.)

4) angle mill it like you suggested.just dont go lowe than the flap.(I dont think it will do anything for "better flow")

just my opinon though.
