My dashboard lights stopped working yesterday evening. They just started to get dimmer and dimmer until they went out all together. The interior lights work fine when I open the door or when I turn them on using the dimmer switch. For some reason the left blinker light on the dashboard also stopped working, but the right one still works. I checked the dash light fuse under the dash (driver's side) and it appeared to be fine (3 amp fuse). Very frustrating. They worked fine a few days ago!

Any ideas on what do to next?

Check the rheostat on the light switch. Also, check all grounds.

Rotate the lightswitch rheostat back and forth with vigor several times, if the lights start to come back on it is the switch. It might be possible to clean it, maybe not The electrical term your encountering is a high resistance open or a "high joint" in telephone talk
