Hmmmm, N/A 10,000 RPM 400" low deck big block with some good B1's.....that would be a bad b*tch! I remember Chuck at Best Machine built a de-stroked N/A big block B1 motor for a mud truck; that thing had some ONIONS! I use to have pics & info on it, but lost them on my old computer.

P5 smallblock if you can figure out an intake......P7 and start from scratch with raw head and manifold castings, or maybe a 4.500 x 3.22 lowdeck PSO. A Millennium head will support the hp per cube as well, built in an outlaw SS/AH fashion I'd bet with less stroke.

Any max effort deal with that "ci" will be in the 9000+ rpm range.

Big block, biggest bore you can stand, best heads and valve springs possible. Ideally, destroke a prostock motor and run it on methanol and as much compression as you can get, but what could you do for a manifold? I think the Predator heads have the best cast manifold available of the Mopar stuff. What's the budget? S/F....Ken M

A Victor Glidden headed Ford or an SB2.2. Feel free to flame away but it is the truth. Unless you can score a P5 motor which there is one on RJ right now. Or want to spend the money on R&D on a P7 deal. It SHOULD be able to be done I dont think anyone has put the time or money yet in yet. Lot's of proven combos with the Ferds and Chevies out there.

Are they actually going to pump motors? One of the issues at SCSN is they dont and there is a lot of specualtion that some folks are fudging. Especially when they come here from back east and run better than they do all year long. At our elevation.

Maybe a nice set of W8's and enough money and time. Chris Fairchild has a very nice W8 NA SB he has been thinking of selling. Might be worth a call.

Weight limit? tire size limit? chassis rule? I'll never have the time/money/knowledge to partake in this circus, but it would be fun!

There are only 2 Mopars that run this Class.
The one has TS Heads and the other uses Pro Stock Truck Hemi Heads

I'd go low deck big block for lower piston speeds....1100HP out of 410 cubes is going to nee to spin to 9k plus...also going to need some SERIOUS head flow...

or I'd look at the gen III hemi...the apache head should be able to support a ton of power, I thought the aftermarket aluminum block was available in siamese bore...

Whatever happened to Bondo Bob's build? That build along with Fast Fish's W8 engine would get my vote.

A canted valve chevy small block would make that pretty easy. We have a 358 that makes 960.

Tom Slawko has a killer head program no matter if you use SBC canted, sb 2.2 or even the mopar. he's making a set now for a mopar austrailian pro stock motor.

I would say more like 40-50k that is what 1000 plus HP Chivy or phord will set you back.

That said for inline head and cast intake hard to beat w8 combo. (must use zuse casting). But 980-1020HP small block mopar can be done.

Not to sprinkle salt on your cheerios, but that kind of motor/budget is not going to be built by a bunch of keyboard jockeys. I would imagine that a few on here COULD do it, but they sure aren't going to supply a parts list and specs!
This is the kind of thing that you should talk over with a few builders and decide which ONE to follow, not 10 guys with different ideas. I'd expect a number of DAYS of dyno time just for valvetrain comparisons.
