Furious65 OP member Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 36 Tucson, AZ	I was curious if someone could tell me if this is a common problem on the smaller Carter BBD carb. You can see it in the pic below where it is raised up in the center. This is the top cover on the carb. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself?

Furious65 OP member Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 36 Tucson, AZ	Thanks gentlemen. I have an Eddy 1406 I could put on but I didn't really want to do a manifold swap and everything else right now. I guess I'll try to see what I can do with this before I jump in. <sigh>

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,040 Lincoln Nebraska	It'd be worth a try to see if you could take up the space with some gasket cement and maybe some soft gasket material but I'd do some drawfiling first and it'll take some work with that amount of warp. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
