topside OP Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,763 A collage of whims	Can anyone post a pic of a '64 B-body trans dipstick tube? Maybe '62-'65, or later years, are the same, I don't know. My '64 Savoy - transplanting an RB/727 - needs the tube & dipstick, and the one I have is WAY wrong: it passes right across the #8 header tube. Thanks in advance!

dvw master Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 9,835 MI, usa	I cut the mount off from mine. I welded a tab 90 degrees to the original tab that mounts thru the ear on the bell housing. You can rotate the tube where you need it before fabricating the tab. Way easier to install as well. Mine fits even though the motor is slid back. Doug
