Mine has been 10.09 at 132 in my 3100-3200 pound Dart. I am going to put these heads on a 340 with a hyd cam to run 12.00 so I can run sportstman and Pro.

Ryan told me the Stage 2's work on Velocity, not volume. He also said he ports where the motor picks up, in some cases regardless of what the flow bench says. I think this is why some of the perofmance numbers are so impressive considering the 28" flow bench numbers (~280CFM @ .600) can seem not that impressive.

When you consider that any given intake valve is closed nearly ~2/3'ds of the time in a running motor (regardless of RPM) it's interesting to think to meter EX 270CFM of bench flow at WOT the motor is intermitantly metering only roughly 90 (one third) CFM through any port....over roughly 20 seconds since the valve is shut for the other 40.

Take the @.050 degrees of duration divided by 720 and multiply that amount by 60, that's the number of seconds in a minute the valve is (at some stage of) open.....and this is a mathematic constant i.e., regardless of engine RPM. Now divide those seconds by whatever RPM and that's how fast each intake (or exhaust) cycle is. It's pretty amazing a column of air can get in there at all and it gives you some sense of why Intake tuning is so critical for the RPM
