The previous owner of my '75 Dart Sport did not install the windshield properly and it leaks. There is no lock strip and the gasket is new. Do you just push from a certain point (top, bottom or middle)? Or do you have to lift up the gasket with something like a puddy knife and run it along the edges and have someone push from the inside of the car? I really don't want to run the risk of breaking the windshield because it's in perfect shape. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Trying to get it out today! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

Im sure many have differnt ways....I always took somthing like the inside of a 10 speed shifter cable or some small STRONG braided wire, slipped it through, a pair of vise grips on each side and gently start sawing away....havnt broke one in years.
That's the best method. This is the other method
Or, call a windshield replacement place to remove it. In my area, if they break it, they replace it but they usually don't. They can get new glass as far back to '68. Had the glass removed from my RR with now problems ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif)
