Hope someone can give me a hand here. I have a pro shifted hemi box I'm going through. The question I have is if anyone is familiar with selector levers with no o-ring groove cut in them? The information I have is that these were a special HD lever that require a modified cover that houses a seal. If anyone knows of another method I would appreciate it. Not afraid to spend the money at Liberty to have a cover modified but if anyone else knows anything I would appreciate any help.

Those are the HD modified levers by Liberty's
They can machine you side cover to accept a lip seal to keep the lube in the box where it belongs.I have had a few early Liberty boxes apart and they didn't use seals in the older race boxes I believe.I had my bro-in-law machine a few covers for me after I cracked one with those shafts in it.If I still have a spare I will work you a deal

Sounds good, if you find one and want to sell, let me know. I know this is an old liberty box, dates on sliders / cluster is '76 with liberty stampings. It's an a-body box as well, would be interesting to have the history..

For reference, I've posted a picture of the liberty cover vs. a stock cover. Thanks again Gus. The HD cover has the c'bores for seals vs. o-ring grooves on the levers.
