ok guys i will b putting my motor in the duster this week i hope so i have a few ??? on the verta.. i have 2 verta 1 is a 8" turbo action 5600 and the other is a 9.5 dynamic 5000 my motor is 451 (low deck) -1 heads cam motion solid roller 727 tran gear i think will be 4.56 tire 18.5/31 73 duster tube chassis car hope to be about 2500 total weight what verta should i run???? anymore info needed let me know i think i got most of it ... thanks

your cam ain't that different from mine, just your car is lighter with less rear gear than i'm running. my cam is 272/279@050 with 660 lift. rear gears are 4.88, car weighs 2950 with my fat butt in the chair, slicks are 32x14 MT's, i launch @ 4400 on the brake & i usually run 1.3x 60's, 6.0@112mph half track, 9.42@142 1/4's. i'm still using a 4150 demon 1025cfm carb which probably could be bigger. i would go with the TA verter, it'll have you right in your power band every change. but thats just my

4.56's are probably ok too, i tend to holeshot most of my competition, i put that down to the 4.88's.
