Haveny posted much in a while, started a new job and all, but I have been collecting parts, and getting stuff ready for next season...
Anyways, just picked up my block and other stuff from the machine shop... Its not a max effort deal, but its pretty good effort for a stock block deal...

Engine is a 499 Low deck, has been poured to a medium fill, (about 2 1/2 inch from deck) lined honed, studs and bored and honed with a torque plate. 4.15 Billet Kryptonite Crank and BME 6.525 billet rods. Venolia pistons, compression will be in the 12.5-13:1 range.
Heads are fully ported B1 Originals, with T&D 1.75 rockers. Cam is a solid roller old Ultra Dyne with .800 lift with these rockers and about 275@50 duration.
B1 Intake on race fuel and a 9375 Dominator. Goin into a tube chassis Duster about 2600 lbs with driver, torqueflite and Coan mech diode 6300 converter and 4.56 gears. usual race stuff.. I hope it will run a conserviative 8.80-9.0

I would think as long as you are not running in Denver it should exceed your expectations by a couple of tenths. My combination is a 572 aluminum B1 deal in a Duster roughly 200 lbs lighter and I will be dissappointed if it will not run 8.50 next season in Vegas type air.

It should run what your looking for pretty easy even
at elevation... I would expect 8.50s in lower conditions

You had better get it certed for sub 8.50s. The motor will make 900 hp and should push the car to 8.40s in good air. Hang on
