Is one just as good as the other?? Just priced out all the parts to rebuild the front end on my Coronet...
Advance....all Moog...764.89
O'Reilly's...all Moog...728.95
Rock Auto...all spicer pro grade, shipped...462.56
All the Moog was higher than the Spicer...@ Rock Auto
I have read previous posts on this and have not came to a conclusion...thoughts please!!
BTW this is not including Torsion Bars, Strut Rods

Moog is very good & I heard that Spicers top of the line was also but that is a heck of a price differential.

Since bringing in the Spicer Professional Series line over a year ago, the response has been excellent. My website will be ready shortly, but you can see ALL of the Spicer rebuild packages in my eBay Store. eBay User ID bremotorsports. Then go to Group 2 Suspension Front.

I saved $8 each over Rock Auto on my Moog lower ball joints at Amazon.com of all places. Also free shipping. Amazon has lots of other parts, but the lower ball joints were the only items I found that were less than Rock Auto.

I priced it locally and online at Rock Auto and checked out a lot of the "Packages" offered in the mags and online. I ended up going with Mr. Rolik and the Spicer Pro pkg with tie rod upgrades to 11/16 and felt it was the best deal going, and with the simplicity of getting it all from one place. You need to compare the entire package, as Rolik includes things that others don't, like the eccentric cam bolts. I am pleased. They also offer the Spicer version of the offset control arm bushings like Moog. Lee.

I have the 11/16 tie rods and cam bolts for the UCA, as well as the Spicer version of the Moog problem solvers....The price I posted from rock auto was Everything except the torsion bars and strut rods...

I wouldn't even consider the kits from PST and the like advertised in the mags, You have no idea what they are or from where

My Moog upper and lower ball joints, and Spicer professional grade tie rod ends & pitman arm are made in USA. The Moog upper and lower control arm bushings are made in Mexico.

I also see that the company that owns Spicer (old Dana corp I think) also owns McQuay-Norris. Anyone know if McQuay-Norris is the same as Spicer? Or is it a "service grade"?

Hi I just got to this part in my restoration. I'm about to remove the upper control arms and I purchased MOOG bushings. I'm not very impressed with the quality of these parts. This is my first experience with MOOG, the metal already has some surface rust right out of the box. got these from Advance Auto. And yes they do say made in Mexico. The box they came in was made in USA.
